The next, you are strengthening cybersecurity, maintaining critical infrastructure, or ensuring the systems remain secure and available.\nWe think you will enjoy this role if you:\nStay calm and think clearly under pressure\nThrive both independently and collaboratively\nTake ownership and see issues through to resolution\nSpot risks and opportunities before they become problems\nNaturally curious and always exploring how technology can simplify work\nLove solving puzzles and getting to the root cause, not just treating the symptoms\nTurn technical jargon into simple, practical solutions that everyone can understand\nYou will be responsible for:\nEnd-User Support\nProvide Level 1 and Level 2 end-user support, including laptop deployment, endpoint protection, BitLocker encryption, VPN configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues\nServer & Microsoft 365 Administration\nConfigure and deploy Windows Server virtual machines on VMware, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and SharePoint Online environments\nStorage & Backup Management\nManage Synology NAS, including storage, backup, disaster recovery, and data restoration\nNetwork & Infrastructure Management\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot Sophos Firewall, VPN, UniFi wireless networks, and Aruba/HP switches\nPerform firmware, software, and security updates for servers, firewalls, switches, wireless devices, and endpoint devices\nCybersecurity & Compliance\nGenerate routine cybersecurity reports, perform traffic analysis using firewall logs, network monitoring tools, and security reports to identify suspicious or abnormal activities\n Monitor infrastructure health, network performance, firewall activity, and security alerts, and investigate potential security threats\nPerform system hardening of servers, endpoints, network devices, and Microsoft 365 environments in accordance with security best practices and organisational standards\nManage vulnerability assessments, remediate identified security risks, and implement cybersecurity best practices to strengthen the organisation's security posture\nInstall, renew, and maintain SSL certificates and other security-related configurations\nSupport HIA technical compliance and collaborate with vendors on infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and IT project implementation\nDocumentation & Asset Management\nMaintain IT infrastructure documentation, system configurations, network diagrams, and IT asset inventory\nProjects & Continuous Improvement\nParticipate in IT projects, system enhancements, and technology initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned to support organisational needs\nWhat matters most\nStrong technical expertise is essential.
