Authorization to work in Germany is required.\nWhat You’ll Do\nHands-on IT Administration\nOwn and manage the day-to-day operation of our cloud and on-premises IT environment.\n\nAdminister and support Linux and macOS endpointsthroughout their lifecycle.\n\nManage MDM, IAM, user accounts, permissions, SSO, and MFA.\n\nAdminister cloud-based email, collaboration, and file-storage services.\n\nManage employee access across internal systems and business applications.\n\nConfigure, maintain, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks.\n\nManage VPN solutions, network segmentation, policies, and access rules.\n\nAdminister and maintain on-premises and cloud-based servers.\n\nManage endpoint security solutions, including EDR/antivirus, patching, encryption, and security policies.\n\nImplement and maintain integrations between different IT systems.\n\nAutomate repetitive IT administration tasks wherever possible.\n\nMonitor systems and proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact users.\n\nIT Support & Service Delivery\nBe a primary point of contact for IT support for employees in our Munich office and provide remote support to colleagues in other locations.\n\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, endpoint, network, account, and access issues.\n\nManage IT support requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.\n\nSet up laptops, accounts, permissions, and required applications for new employees.\n\nExecute IT onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors.\n\nManage IT hardware inventory and device lifecycle.\n\nMaintain clear and useful technical documentation.\n\nHelp create a reliable and user-friendly IT environment where employees can work effectively with minimal friction.\n\nIT Security & Compliance\nYou will have the opportunity to learn how to manage ISMS based on ISO 27001 and TISAX frameworks. We are looking for someone eager to develop in this area.\nYou will:\nSupport the implementation and maintenance of technical security controls.\n\nHelp maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, asset inventories, and access records.\n\nSupport evidence collection and technical preparation for ISO 27001 and TISAXaudits.\n\nWork with internal and external stakeholders on Information Security topics.\n\nSupport vulnerability management, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and security incident readiness.\n\nHelp investigate and resolve IT security incidents.\n\nGradually develop your knowledge of our ISMS and security/compliance requirements.\n\nContribute ideas for improving the security and resilience of our IT environment.\n\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nWork closely with Engineering and DevOpson infrastructure, access, networking, and security topics.\n\nSupport business applications used by HR, Sales, Finance, Legal, and other teams.\n\nWork with IT vendors and service providers when required.\n\nEvaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to our IT environment.\n\nSupport the secure adoption of AI tools and emerging technologies.\n\nIdentify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification.\n\nWhat you bring\nSeveral years of hands-on experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, IT Engineer, or similar role.\n\nStrong hands-on experience administering Linux and/or macOS environments, with a willingness to become proficient across both.\n\nExperience with endpoint and device management, including MDM, centralized patching, encryption, and security policies.\n\nExperience with IAM, SSO, and MFA.\n\nExperience administering cloud-based productivity and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.\n\nSolid networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi, VPNs, VLANs, and firewalls.\n\nExperience administering servers and working with on-premises infrastructure.\n\nUnderstanding of endpoint security, backups, monitoring, and logging.\n\nBasic scripting or automation skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.\n\nA practical troubleshooting mindset and willingness to investigate problems independently.\n\nComfortable supporting users directly-from simple endpoint issues to more complex infrastructure problems.\n\nAbility to document technical processes clearly.\n\nFluent English; German language skills are a must (C1 level).\n\nFor the Senior IT Administrator level\nCandidates considered for the Senior IT Administrator level should additionally bring:\n5+ years of relevant hands-on IT administration or systems engineering experience, ideally in a technical or engineering-driven environment.\nStrong hands-on expertise across Linux and macOS, with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex endpoint and system issues.\nProven experience taking ownership of MDM, IAM, SSO/MFA, endpoint security, networking, and access management.\nStrong networking knowledge with practical experience configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.\nExperience independently owning technical projects from solution design and implementation through documentation and ongoing operation.\nStrong troubleshooting skills across endpoints, networks, cloud services, identity, and infrastructure, with the ability to resolve complex issues without relying primarily on external providers.\nExperience using scripting and automation to improve IT operations and reduce repetitive manual work.\nAbility to proactively identify weaknesses in an existing IT environment and independently propose and implement secure, scalable improvements.\nExperience acting as a technical escalation point and supporting or mentoring less experienced colleagues.\nAbility to work confidently with Engineering and DevOps teams and communicate effectively with highly technical stakeholders.\nA strong security mindset and interest in taking increasing ownership of Information Security, ISO 27001, TISAX, and ISMS-related topics.\nPrevious hands-on experience supporting ISO 27001, TISAX, an ISMS, or security audits is an advantage for the Senior level, but not required.\nMost importantly, you:\nEnjoy being hands-onand solving technical problems yourself.\n\nTake ownership instead of simply escalating issues to someone else.\n\nAre comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for help.\n\nEnjoy
