Percentage of travel, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies. This resource must be willing and able to travel as required by the customer project. This is generally negotiable, but not always, and could be as high as 75%.\nJob Summary:\nAs an Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical designs and ensuring the successful delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud projects.\nEssential Functions:\nCollaborate with clients and project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle HCM Cloud technical solutions. Develop architectural designs and strategies to meet client needs and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.\nLead the technical implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions, including configuration, customization, integration, data migration, and reporting. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards throughout the implementation process.\nServe as the subject matter expert on Oracle HCM Cloud technical capabilities, features, and functionalities. Stay up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases and updates and provide guidance on how to leverage new features to optimize business processes.\nDesign and implement integrations between Oracle HCM Cloud and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, and third-party applications. Develop and maintain integration interfaces, leveraging Oracle integration technologies and APIs.\nIdentify and resolve performance issues within the Oracle HCM Cloud environment. Conduct system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization activities to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.\nProvide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, including developers, administrators, and analysts. Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing and best practices within the organization.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Conduct training sessions and workshops to transfer technical knowledge to clients and internal teams.\nCollaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.\nBending, sitting, lifting, driving.\nPosition Type and expected hours of work:\nFull time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.\nRequired Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.\nExtensive experience as a Technical Architect, specifically with Oracle HCM Cloud solutions.\nStrong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules and their technical components, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Management, and Analytics.\nProficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and other relevant Oracle technologies.\nHands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud implementation projects, including configuration, customization, and data migration.\nIn-depth understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud security, data model, and reporting capabilities.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.\nStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with clients at various levels.\nOther Duties:\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
