The role involves developing technical solutions, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and supporting the execution of projects such as conveyor systems, crushing stations, fuel storage tanks, and jetty mechanical works.\nKey Responsibilities:\n Design, review, and optimize bulk material handling systems including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, feeders, stackers, and transfer towers.\nPrepare and review detailed engineering documents such as specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, GA drawings, and fabrication details.\nProvide engineering input for fabrication works including tanks, pressure vessels, structural supports, and piping systems.\nEnsure designs comply with SNI, ASME, API, ISO, CEMA, and international standards.\nConduct mechanical calculations including load, torque, stress, and material selection for handling equipment.\nSupport procurement by preparing technical requisitions, evaluating vendor offers, and reviewing vendor drawings.\nCoordinate with drafting team to produce accurate fabrication drawings and material take-offs (MTOs).\nWork closely with civil, electrical, and structural teams to ensure integrated and constructible designs.\nProvide technical support during workshop fabrication, site installation, and commissioning.\nParticipate in design reviews, HAZOP, and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.\nSupport preparation of BoQs, cost estimates, and schedules for mechanical works.\nMentor junior engineers and ensure knowledge transfer within the mechanical discipline.\nQualifications & Experience:\n Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (S1) or equivalent.\n5-10 years experience in mechanical engineering within EPC/EPCM projects.\nStrong background in bulk material handling systems (belt conveyors, chutes, crushers, feeders, stackers).\nProven experience in fabrication of tanks, mechanical equipment, and structural assemblies.\nProficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
