Our spacecraft enable the future of society: ranging from earth observation to communications and more.\nWe’d love for you to join us on our mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet.\nAbout the Role\nApex is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop avionics systems and electrical components for satellite platforms. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop electrical architectures, and ensure seamless integration of subsystems while maintaining the highest standards of performance.\nResponsibilities:\nElectrical architecture and design, product requirements, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, and documentation\n\nFlight production, development prototyping, vendor selection, and manufacturing\n\nCircuit and full product bring-up, debugging, troubleshooting, and confidence, acceptance and qualification testing\n\nDeliver hardware on time and active project management through schedule maintenance and status reports\n\nIntegration, full vehicle integrated testing, and data review\n\nMultidisciplinary coordination with software, firmware, mechanical, PCB layout, environments, integration, harnessing, test, manufacturing, and production teams to deliver a fully functional product\n\nDrive improvements in reliability and capabilities while minimizing cost and schedule\n\nRequirements:\nU.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related field.\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the aerospace or satellite industry.\n\nProficient in designing and developing avionics systems, electrical circuits, and subsystems.\n\nExperience with electrical design tools, such as eCAD software such as Altium, circuit simulation software such as LTSpice, and PCB design tools.\n\nProblem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex electrical and avionics engineering problems, identify innovative solutions, and implement effective troubleshooting techniques.\n\nProven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts, and work towards shared project goals.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to project deadlines and budget constraints. Ability to debug complex problems using typical tools such as Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and technologies.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.\n\nCompensation\nSalary Range: $165,000 - $195,000 a year\nThe stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range and excludes additional benefits.
