Our spacecraft enable the future of society: ranging from earth observation to communications and more.\nWe’d love for you to join us on our mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet.\nAbout the Role\nApex is looking for an experienced and motivated Spacecraft Quality Inspector to oversee daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will provide the production team with the ability to meet quality and safety standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct inspections and tests on in-process products and finished goods using appropriate tools and equipment.\nRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to verify product compliance.\nDocument and report quality issues, non-conformances, and inspection results accurately.\nPerform root cause analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.\nMaintain quality inspection tools and equipment.\nSupport the development and implementation of quality control procedures and standards.\nAssist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements.\nMonitor production processes to identify potential quality issues and recommend improvements.\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.\n3+ years of experience in quality control/inspection in the aerospace industry.\nProficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters) and testing equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nKnowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is a plus.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software (preferred).\nWhy Join Apex?\nApex believes in creating a work environment that you look forward to embracing every day.
