This is a hands-on role combining functional testing, test automation, data and integration testing, and AI-enabled Quality Engineering.\n\nO que vais fazer\n\nDefine, maintain and execute test plans and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements\nPerform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing\nValidate business rules, workflows, configurations, permissions and system behaviour\nTest APIs, interfaces and integrations between enterprise applications\nValidate data consistency, transformations, reconciliation and data quality across systems\nIdentify edge cases and potential failure scenarios before solutions reach production\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and continuous testing\nIdentify testing activities that can be automated and improve existing automation coverage\nIntegrate automated testing into development and CI/CD processes where applicable\nCreate reusable test components and automation patterns that can be applied across projects\nWork closely with developers to improve testability and automate quality controls throughout the delivery lifecycle\nApply Generative AI and AI Agents to improve and accelerate testing activities\nUse AI to support test-case generation, requirements analysis, test-data generation, defect analysis and test documentation\nExplore agent-based approaches for executing tests, analysing results and identifying potential quality issues\nEvaluate where AI-generated testing can be trusted and where human validation remains necessary\nContribute to reusable AI-enabled QA approaches, tools and accelerators for Apgar projects\nContribute to the testing and evaluation of Generative AI, RAG and Agentic AI solutions\nWork with AI and Data teams to continuously improve the quality and reliability of AI solutions\nIdentify, document, classify and track defects through resolution\nWork closely with developers, consultants and architects to analyse root causes and validate fixes\nMaintain clear test evidence and traceability between requirements, tests and defects\nPrepare quality dashboards, test results, defect KPIs and progress reports\nCommunicate risks and quality issues clearly to project teams and stakeholders\nIdentify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and automation\nKeep up to date with emerging Quality Engineering, test automation and AI testing practices\nExperiment with new testing tools and approaches and assess their practical value\nShare knowledge and reusable practices with other Apgar teams\nContribute to the evolution of Apgar's Quality Engineering capability across Data and AI projects\n\nO que é pedido\n\nDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data, Engineering or a related field\n3+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering or related roles\nHands-on experience testing enterprise applications, data platforms or complex business solutions\nExperience with functional, integration and regression testing\nExperience with test automation and API testing\nExperience working as part of Agile delivery teams\nGood understanding of software testing methodologies and Quality Engineering practices\nExperience with automated testing frameworks and tools\nExperience testing REST APIs and system integrations\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices\nAbility to analyse logs, troubleshoot issues and work closely with development teams\nGood SQL skills and ability to validate data directly\nUnderstanding of data quality, data validation and reconciliation\nExperience testing workflows, business rules and data-driven applications\nPractical interest or experience using Generative AI to improve software development or testing activities\nFamiliarity with LLMs, RAG and AI Agents\nUnderstanding of the specific challenges involved in testing non-deterministic AI solutions\nInterest in experimenting with new approaches to AI-enabled testing and Quality Engineering\nWorking knowledge of Python, Java, JavaScript or another programming/scripting language\nExperience with API testing and automation tools\nFamiliarity with Git and modern software development practices\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAttention to detail without losing sight of the business objective\nAbility to work independently and take ownership of testing activities\nComfortable working directly with developers, consultants and business stakeholders\nCurious and proactive mindset, with a willingness to experiment and learn\nAbility to explain quality issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences\nTeam-oriented approach and willingness to share knowledge\nInterest in how AI is changing
