We're changing that, and the market is responding.\nThe Role\nThis Account Executive role is perfect for someone ambitious who wants to change their career trajectory and be the architect of their own success. You'll join a high-performing Australian team of customer success and account management professionals. This role suits someone with a deep understanding of construction who wants to put that experience to work in a fast-moving, rewarding environment and shape their own path.\nAt Aphex, we believe deeply that we are in the business of successful construction project delivery. As an Account Executive, you'll embody this principle: establishing relationships, deploying projects that deliver value, then helping companies see that value and adopt it throughout the business.\nThe role focuses on ANZ accounts and report to our Sales & RevOps Lead, APAC. We've built the foundation, and now there's plenty of open field for you to run in.\nKey Responsibilities\nMap and develop a deep understanding of projects, opportunities and key people across a set of target accounts\n\nMake contact with prospects through various channels, including LinkedIn outreach and relationship building\n\nSupport our nurturing presence by maintaining an active professional presence on LinkedIn and industry channels\n\nFind and develop your own opportunities within assigned target accounts\n\nManage inbound leads routed to your accounts through the complete sales process\n\nConduct compelling product demonstrations that resonate with project challenges\n\nLead the deployment process as architect of project success, with support from the customer success team\n\nBuild bottom-up momentum within accounts while orchestrating top-down strategies\n\nNegotiate contracts and close deals that drive value for both parties\n\nCollaborate closely with customer success teams throughout the customer journey\n\nConsistently achieve quarterly and annual sales targets\n\nWho You Are\nConstruction Expertise: You've spent years on-site in construction, perhaps as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer, and now you're ready to leverage that knowledge in a new way.\n\nTech Curious: You're excited by the potential of technology to solve the pain points you've experienced in construction and are keen to make a change in your career.\n\nPersonal Drive & Responsibility: You take ownership of your results and have a strong sense of urgency in getting things done.\n\nGrowth Mindset: You're eager to learn, adapt and grow in a new role, with a hunger to continuously improve.\n\nRelationship Builder: You're a skilled communicator, confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.\n\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive salary package: Base/variable split with significant earning potential\n\nA high-performing team: Join a motivated, supportive and ambitious group\n\nA meaningful mission: Help improve how major infrastructure projects across ANZ deliver work\n\nFlexibility: Hybrid working depending on your location (Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane preferred), with WeWork access.
