This role demands strong system design capabilities, ownership, and the ability to drive projects independently from design ideation to production.\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\nBackend (Primary (Golang)):\nArchitect and implement high-throughput, low-latency services in Golang that power our telemetry pipelines\nBuild and optimize data-processing paths for high-volume streaming workloads, including mutation, enrichment, routing, and persistence.\nDesign and maintain well-structured APIs and microservices.\nImplement fault-tolerant, horizontally scalable components.\nLead performance, reliability, and throughput improvements across critical data-processing paths.\nFull Stack Development:\nBuild performant, maintainable front-end interfaces using React + TypeScript + Storybook.\nDevelop end-to-end features spanning UI, backend services, data models, and deployment.\nContribute to the Python codebase for ML-based alerting and auxiliary backend services.\nSystem Architecture and Ownership:\nDrive architectural decisions for data pipelines, distributed services, and query processing layers.\nOwn components across their lifecycledesign, development, testing, deployment, and production support.\nImprove system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency through continuous iteration.\nEstablish engineering best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and runtime excellence.\nCollaboration:\nWork with Product and SRE teams to deliver production-grade features.\nDocument design decisions and choices and communicate trade-offs clearly.\nProvide technical leadership on complex initiatives and mentor junior engineers.\nRequirements:\n7+ years of engineering experience, with deep exposure to large-scale backend systems.\nExpert-level Golang: concurrency, memory management, profiling, and performance tuning.\nExperience building high-volume, real-time distributed data systems (streaming or batch).\nStrong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.\nSolid Python experience for backend or pipeline-related workloads.\nStrong understanding of distributed systems concepts: consensus, sharding, replication, caching, and failure handling.\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL systems and data modeling for scale.\nHands-on experience with microservices and RESTful API design\nDemonstrated ability to break down complex problems and deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.\nExperience with TDD and modern testing frameworks (Vitest, Playwright, Pytest, etc. ).\nBonus Experience:\nWork in telemetry pipelines, observability, monitoring, APM, or related domains.\nExperience with columnar storage, object-store-based data architectures, or custom storage engines.\nExperience with OCI/AWS and cloud-native architectures.
