We’re passionate about transforming hard-tech and building a category-defining company together.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior / Staff Infrastructure Engineer at Apiphany, you’ll design, build, and operate the infrastructure that powers our intelligence platform. You’ll be responsible for secure, reliable, and scalable cloud deployments, including the unique challenge of deploying into both internal and customer-managed clouds.\nYou’ll ensure our systems meet strict requirements for latency, availability, and compliance in highly data-heavy environments. You’ll also guide our security posture, implement infrastructure-as-code, and set the foundation for engineering teams to ship with confidence.\nExperience & Skills\n3-5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable)\n\nExperience deploying into customer-managed cloud environments and hybrid setups\n\nStrong knowledge of application security (RBAC, ABAC, multi-tenant systems, identity/access frameworks, secrets management)\n\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service orchestration\n\nProficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent)\n\nExperience designing systems to meet low-latency and high-throughput requirements\n\nBackground in monitoring, logging, and observability\n\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for production systems\n\nSkilled in networking (VPCs, peering, firewalls, service meshes)\n\nBonus Skills\nExperience with data infrastructure (streaming frameworks, caching layers, big data stores)\n\nExposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, FedRAMP)\n\nPrior experience in high-security, regulated industries (aerospace, medtech, automotive)\n\nBackend
