And as one, we deliver.\nRight now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our EMEA Business Development Team in the position of Business Development Manager.\nJob Purpose\nAchievement of new business sales revenue in APL Logistics core verticals and services to help our business grow.\n Responsibilities\nBuilding a robust sales pipeline of qualified sales prospects and opportunities to achieve sales targets\n\nPositioning of APL Logistics as a global supply chain specialist providing order management and Global transportation solutions to qualified prospects\n\nApplying a consultative selling approach to identify pain points and understand customer needs\n\nCreate compelling value-added solutions with the support of subject matter experts within the business that solve the customer’s supply chain and logistics problems - present, negotiate and win the business\n\nStakeholder management; attending face to face customer meetings to build rapport and trust at all levels within the organisation\n\nSupporting the customer implementation to ensure successful onboarding of your new customers into APL Logistics\n\nProviding insight into Regional Customer and Competitor developments in the French market\n\nRegularly updating the CRM (Salesforce) throughout each customer engagement phase for up to date pipeline visibility and accurate sales reporting\n\n What we are looking for\nA successful track record in International Supply Chain & Logistics new business sales; experience in the Retail & Lifestyle sector a distinct advantage\n\nPrevious experience in International Freight Forwarding within the EMEA region\n\nA minimum of 10 years experience in new business ‘hunter’ sales roles\n\nExperience in solution selling: the positioning of value-added solutions to win order management and global transportation customers\n\nAdvanced communication and interpersonal skills\n\nStrong prospecting, presenting and negotiation skills\n\nAbility to successfully network and engage at all levels within an organisation\n\nStrong time management, organizational, and planning skills\n\nAbility to work well on your own and within a team\n\nFluency in French\n\nWhat is in it for you:\nSales incentive scheme with uncapped commission\n\nEligibility to join the company pensions scheme\n\nRemote working in France\n\nRegular training and personal development opportunities\n\nThe typical salary range for this position is: € 64.099 - €91.570\nThe actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience.
