And as one, we deliver.\nRight now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Customs Operations Team in the position of Supervisor, Customs Brokerage.\nIn this role, you will supervise all customs-related activities in the assigned division to ensure smooth sailing daily customs operations and ensuring that all shipments are cleared quickly and efficiently.\n Responsibilities\nOversee customs clearance processes for local imports, exports and transits\n\nMonitor quality of daily activities and introduce interventions to address non-conformance\n\nReview and approve complex customs declarations and non-fiscal obligations\n\nEstablish and manage relationships with key stakeholders - both internal and external\n\nVerify vendor invoices received and ensure timely submission to Finance for payment processing\n\nAssist with both internal and external audits\n\nPlan work schedules and manage team's performance, identify training needs and motivate the team to achieve the department's objectives\n\n What we are looking for\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in customs brokerage or related field\n\nExcellent knowledge of customs regulations\n\nExperience with Softpak and AI-applications\n\nExperience with HS-code classification, Origin and Customs Value Calculations\n\nExperience with Limited fiscal Representation\n\nKnowledge of Customer KPI/SLA management\n\nExcellent command of English and Dutch; German knowledge is an asset\n\nExperience in supervising/training a team as a plus\n\nWhat we offer:\nParticipation in our global Cash Bonus Plan\n\nPension Plan\n\nRegular trainings and excellent development opportunities within APL Logistics globally\n\nWorking in an open team with a supportive working atmosphere\n\nVarious benefits for birthdays, marriage, childbirth, long service as appropriate\n\nOffice located in the city of Rotterdam by the river\n\nHybrid working model\n\nLocal and regional activities focused on employee engagement throughout the year\n\nThe typical salary range for this position is: € 49.329 - € 75.891 (paid on 13-month salaries + holiday allowance).\nThe actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills and experience.
