This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support a busy finance team during a busy period. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments and account reconciliations.\nBenefits & Perks\nImmediate ongoing temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position\nOn-site role in Winnipeg\nFree parking\nFull-time contract hours, with the potential to extend \nResponsibilities\nProcess accounts receivable invoices and post payments\nMonitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities\nReconcile the AR ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted\nGenerate and send out customer invoices and account statements\nFollow up with customers via phone and email regarding outstanding balances\nMaintain accurate financial records and documentation, including creating reports in Excel \nAssist with month-end closing and reporting related to AR\nPerform other related administrative or accounting tasks as needed\nQualifications\nPost secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nExperience working in a fast-paced or high-volume AR environment\nExperience working in the healthcare environment is an asset \nProven experience in an Accounts Receivable or general accounting role\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles and AR procedures\nProficient in MS Office (especially Excel and VLOOKUPs) and able to work in multiple accounting systems (experience with SAP, Great Plains, Accuro is an asset)\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team with excellent multitasking abilities \nCriminal background check is required \nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
