This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Lawyer who values meaningful work, hands-on mentorship, and a balanced lifestyle within a well-established and supportive practice.\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 (commensurate with experience)\nIndustry-leading bonus structure\nExceptional collection rates with bonus opportunities reflecting individual performance\nOrigination credits available for lawyers interested in business development\nFully paid professional fees\nComprehensive health benefits\nKey Responsibilities\nManage a diverse caseload of Family Law matters from initial client consultation through resolution\nProvide legal advice and representation on matters involving divorce, separation, custody and access, and spousal support\nRepresent clients in negotiations, mediations, motions, and other dispute resolution proceedings\nPrepare legal correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other court-related documentation\nConduct legal research and provide practical, strategic advice to clients\nDevelop and implement effective case strategies in collaboration with clients and legal professionals\nCommunicate professionally and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders\nMaintain organized and accurate client files while ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met\nCollaborate with Partners and colleagues to support the successful resolution of complex Family Law matters\nMaintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality and responsive legal service\nQualifications\nLicense to practice law in Ontario\n2+ years of Family Law experience within a law firm environment\nStrong knowledge of Ontario Family Law legislation, procedures, and court processes\nExperience managing Family Law matters independently from intake through resolution\nTrial experience is considered a strong asset\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time-management skills\nProfessional, empathetic, and client-service-oriented demeanor\nStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently\nAbility to manage multiple priorities effectively within a busy legal environment\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
