La personne idéale possède une expérience pratique du traitement complet de la paie (full-cycle) pour des employés rémunérés à l’heure, et sait appliquer des conventions collectives complexes dans un environnement dynamique.\n\nLieu : Edmonton, Montréal ou Ottawa\nMode de travail : Présentiel (au bureau)\nRémunération\n65 000 $ à 77 000 $ par année, selon l’expérience et le lieu\nPrime annuelle / liée à la performance\nAvantages\nAvantages sociaux dès le premier jour\nProgramme d’actionnariat des employés\nRégime de retraite : contribution de l’employeur jusqu’à 5 %, passant à 6 % en janvier\nPoste à temps plein, du lundi au vendredi\nResponsabilités\nTraiter la paie hebdomadaire complète (full-cycle) pour des employés rémunérés à l’heure, avec un focus sur les employés syndiqués au Québec.\nInterpréter et appliquer les dispositions des conventions collectives relatives aux salaires, heures supplémentaires, primes, vacances, jours fériés et autres droits.\nAppliquer les exigences de la CCQ et les règles pertinentes de la paie au Québec afin d’assurer un traitement exact et conforme.\nTraiter les embauches, cessations d’emploi, transferts et changements employés, incluant ajustements de taux et modifications de déductions.\nRéviser et traiter les feuilles de temps, présences et heures travaillées en conformité avec les conventions collectives.\nSoutenir la transition des cartes de temps papier vers un système de saisie électronique.\nTraiter les remises, déductions, avantages sociaux, cotisations syndicales et autres ajustements de paie.\nPréparer les T4, Relevé 1 et autres rapports de fin d’année.\nRéconcilier et remettre les obligations liées à la paie et aux avantages syndicaux.\nAssurer la conformité avec les exigences du Québec, la législation gouvernementale, les règles de la CCQ et les conventions collectives applicables.\nCollaborer avec les équipes internes, les employés et les représentants syndicaux pour résoudre les enjeux de paie.\nRépondre aux questions, enquêter sur les écarts et fournir des résolutions rapides.\nMaintenir des dossiers de paie exacts et confidentiels ainsi que la documentation justificative.\nProfil recherché\n Bilinguisme français/anglais (oral et écrit) obligatoire.\nMinimum 2 ans d’expérience en paie full-cycle (idéalement 5 ans et plus).\nSolide expérience en traitement de la paie pour des employés syndiqués au Québec.\nConnaissance des exigences de la CCQ et expérience d’interprétation et d’application de conventions collectives (fortement souhaitée).\nExpérience démontrée dans l’application de clauses syndicales (salaires, heures supplémentaires, primes, vacances, avantages).\nExcellente connaissance de la législation québécoise en paie : déductions, avantages, remises, rapports de fin d’année.\nExpérience en paie à l’heure dans un environnement à fort volume.\nExpérience en traitement de cotisations syndicales, contributions aux avantages et calculs connexes.\nGrande attention aux détails et solides aptitudes en résolution de problèmes.\nCapacité à travailler avec des échéanciers serrés dans un environnement rapide.\nCertification PCP ou en voie d’obtention (souhaitée).\nExpérience avec JD Edwards/JDE ou des systèmes de paie Oracle (atout).\nJoin a leading organization and advance your payroll career! Aplin is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join a busy centralized payroll team supporting operations across Canada, with a focus on the Quebec district.\nThis is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional with a strong background in Quebec unionized payroll, collective agreements, and CCQ requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience processing full-cycle payroll for hourly employees and applying complex union agreements in a fast-paced environment.\nLocation: Edmonton, Montreal, or Ottawa\nWork Arrangement: In-office\nCompensation\n$65,000-$77,000 annually, based on experience and location\nAnnual/performance bonus\nBenefits & Perks\nBenefits effective from day one\nEmployee share program\nPension matching currently up to 5%, increasing to 6% in January\nMonday to Friday, full-time position\nResponsibilities\nProcess full-cycle weekly payroll for hourly employees, with a focus on Quebec-based unionized employees.\nInterpret and apply collective agreement provisions related to wages, overtime, premiums, vacation, statutory holidays, and other employee entitlements.\nApply CCQ requirements and relevant Quebec payroll regulations to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.\nProcess new hires, terminations, transfers, and employee changes, including rate adjustments and changes to payroll deductions.\nReview and process time entries, attendance records, and employee hours, ensuring compliance with applicable collective agreements.\nSupport the transition from paper time cards to electronic timekeeping.\nProcess payroll remittances, deductions, benefits, union dues, and other payroll adjustments.\nPrepare T4s, Relevé 1s, and other year-end payroll reporting.\nReconcile and remit payroll and union benefit liabilities.\nEnsure payroll complies with Quebec requirements, government legislation, CCQ regulations, and applicable collective agreements.\nWork closely with internal teams, employees, and union representatives to resolve payroll-related matters.\nRespond to payroll inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and provide timely resolutions.\nMaintain accurate and confidential payroll records and supporting documentation.\nQualifications\nFluent in both written and spoken French and English is mandatory.\nMinimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience, ideally 5+ years.\nStrong experience processing payroll for unionized employees in Quebec.\nKnowledge of CCQ requirements and experience interpreting and applying collective agreements to payroll processing is strongly preferred.\nDemonstrated experience applying union agreement provisions related to wages, overtime, premiums, vacation, and employee benefits.\nStrong knowledge of Quebec payroll legislation, deductions, benefits, remittances, and year-end reporting.\nExperience with hourly payroll in a high-volume environment.\nExperience processing union dues, benefit contributions, and other union-related payroll calculations.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nPCP certification or working toward PCP is preferred.\nExperience with JD Edwards/JDE or Oracle payroll systems is an asset.\nMust be comfortable working in-office in Edmonton, Montreal, or Ottawa.\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
