Their expertise spans excavation, deep foundations, shoring, demolition, and industrial site prep; often self-performing on high-risk, technically demanding scopes.\n\nAbout The Position\nThe successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the high quality and profitable delivery of Civil construction projects, through the estimating, planning, oversight, and evaluation of construction projects from start to finish.\nThis opportunity is available to candidates based in Victoria, Nanaimo, Parksville, Port Alberni, Ladysmith, Duncan, and Campbell River.\n\nDuties & Responsibilities\nManage civil construction projects with the support of our management team.\nPrepare accurate costs estimates and complete tender package submissions for new projects.\nManage project performance to meet schedule, budget, and contract specifications.\nComplete site inspections and attend progress meetings.\nPrepare/review quality control, OH&S, traffic management and environmental plans.\nManage resources, cost control, progress estimates, and contract change management.\nLiaise with clients, consultants and sub-trades\nProvide support for our field teams as necessary.\nThe Requirements\n5+ years of project management experience in civil construction.\nExperience using Microsoft Office programs.\nValid BC driver’s license and clean abstract.\nGraduate of a recognized post-secondary program related to civil engineering or construction management.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: $100,000 - $130,000\nRRSP Matching\nFully paid premiums\nBonus Scheme & much more\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
