This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure contracts are developed, executed, and managed in compliance with company policies, business needs, and applicable legislation.\nThis is an immediate temporary role based in Saskatoon, SK onsite with the potential to extend.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop RFPs, RFQs, etc. including commercial and contractual terms\nEvaluate vendor proposals and lead contract negotiations\nProvide post-contract support, including:\nVendor dispute resolution\nPerformance management\nIncentives and liquidated damages provisions\nContract changes and terminations\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to support cost efficiency and timely delivery\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure contracts align with policies, procedures, and legal requirements\nWork closely with contract owners and key stakeholders to ensure contracting processes are completed on time and meet business requirements\nComply with all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures\nPerform additional duties as assigned by management\nSkills and Qualifications:\nDegree in Administration, Management, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field\nMinimum of 10 years’ experience in contract administration and strategic sourcing, with progressively increasing responsibility\nProven experience managing large, complex contracts\nExperience leading continuous improvement initiatives\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP\nSCMP designation is required or considered a strong asset\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
