This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, process improvement, and project work in a collaborative finance team.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nPrepare and analyze monthly financial and operational reports to support business decision-making.\nPerform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.\nDevelop forecasts, financial models, and ad hoc reporting for management.\nPrepare and maintain financial statements and management reporting packages.\nPartner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.\nLead and support finance-related projects, including process improvement and technology initiatives.\nEvaluate current finance processes, identify opportunities for increased efficiency, and implement improvements.\nDocument policies, procedures, and workflows to support strong internal controls and consistency.\nAssist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and other finance initiatives as required.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCPA designation is an asset.\n5+ years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience.\nStrong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience.\nAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and manipulate complex financial data.\nWorkday experience strongly preferred\nExperience improving finance processes and implementing operational efficiencies.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.\nExperience supporting finance projects, system implementations, or process improvement initiatives is considered an asset.\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
