Key responsibilities include overseeing full-cycle accounting for two or more entities and supporting additional tasks related to financial reporting, internal controls, and system maintenance.
About The Position:
Reporting to the Controller, the Manager, Financial reporting will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with clear variance analysis
- Mentor and manage a team of 3+ accountants, including performance feedback and hiring support
- Deliver external reporting packages, including quarterly reporting packages
- Work in collaboration with external auditors and support the year-end audit process
- Oversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow activities for 2+ entities
- Maintain and optimize the ERP system and related financial reporting tools
- Streamline internal controls and accounting policies and procedures
- Proactively drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes, closing gaps, and increasing operational efficiency
- Ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements:
- Designated CPA
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Public practice experience is an asset
Compensation And Benefits:
- Salary: $125,000 to $135,000
- 3 to 4 weeks of vacation

- Hybrid work schedule (2 days in office)
