Key responsibilities include overseeing full-cycle accounting for two or more entities and supporting additional tasks related to financial reporting, internal controls, and system maintenance.\nAbout The Position:\nReporting to the Controller, the Manager, Financial reporting will be responsible for, but not limited to:\nPrepare monthly and quarterly financial statements with clear variance analysis\nMentor and manage a team of 3+ accountants, including performance feedback and hiring support\nDeliver external reporting packages, including quarterly reporting packages\nWork in collaboration with external auditors and support the year-end audit process\nOversee the financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow activities for 2+ entities\nMaintain and optimize the ERP system and related financial reporting tools\nStreamline internal controls and accounting policies and procedures\nProactively drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes, closing gaps, and increasing operational efficiency\nAd hoc duties as needed\nRequirements:\nDesignated CPA\n5+ years of accounting experience\nPublic practice experience is an asset\nCompensation And Benefits:\nSalary: $125,000 to $135,000\n3 to 4 weeks of vacation\nExtended health and dental\nDiscretionary bonus\nHybrid work schedule (2 days in office)\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
