The Executive Operations Manager will help bring greater structure, visibility, and follow-through to these priorities, allowing the Managing Partners to spend more time on decisions, relationships, and the future of the business.\nInitially, the role will be heavily focused on learning the business, creating reliable systems, coordinating complex initiatives, and taking ownership of important recurring work. Over time, as trust and business knowledge grow, the opportunity is intended to evolve toward greater analysis, strategic insight, and executive contribution.\nFor the right person, this is much more than a job-it is an opportunity to learn the business from the inside, work alongside experienced entrepreneurs, and build toward a broader leadership role within d3h.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nYou will work closely with the Managing Partners and leaders across the organization to keep important strategic priorities organized, visible, and moving forward.\nYour responsibilities will include:\nCoordinating executive priorities, meetings, decisions, commitments, and follow-up.\nTaking ownership of recurring investor reporting, communications, records and information requests.\nSupporting the coordination of limited partnership, governance, and other complex corporate initiatives.\nDeveloping concise executive and portfolio reporting that helps leadership quickly understand what matters.\nTracking key financing requirements, debt maturities, covenants, and related deadlines.\nMaintaining visibility over acquisition, development, and market opportunities.\nConducting research and coordinating preliminary information and due diligence for potential opportunities.\nWorking with internal leaders and external professionals including lawyers, accountants, lenders and advisors.\nCreating practical systems for important documents, deadlines, decisions, and institutional knowledge.\nLeading selected cross-functional projects that are important to the organization but don’t naturally belong to one department.\nLooking for ways to improve processes and use technology, automation, and AI to make information, reporting, and workflows more effective when appropriate.\nThe intent is not simply to track tasks. As you learn the business, you will increasingly be expected to anticipate what leadership needs, identify issues and opportunities, and bring useful information and insight to the table.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nThere is no single career path that leads to this opportunity, and direct hotel experience is not required.\nWe are more interested in finding someone with the intelligence, judgment, character, and potential to become exceptional in the role than someone who has already held the exact title.\nThe successful candidate will be:\nExceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.\nNaturally curious with a strong ability to learn.\nProactive and comfortable taking ownership without waiting to be directed.\nFinancially literate and comfortable interpreting business information and numbers.\nA strong writer and communicator who can distill complex information into something clear and useful.\nComfortable working directly with owners, senior executives, investors, and professional advisors.\nAble to manage several priorities and complex projects at once without losing track of the details.\nDiscreet and mature when handling confidential financial and strategic information.\nLow ego, collaborative, and willing to ask questions.\nPersistent about follow-through and comfortable holding others accountable.\nTech-savvy and interested in using new tools, including AI and automation, to work more effectively.\nSomeone who naturally thinks a few steps ahead.\nWhere You Might Come From\nStrong candidates could come from finance or accounting, banking, corporate development, investment management, investor relations, management consulting, transaction advisory, legal or professional services, corporate strategy, executive operations, project/program management, or another sophisticated owner-managed business.\nWe are open-minded about background.
