This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a complex and highly collaborative environment focused on integrity, leadership, innovation, and service excellence.\nReporting to the Executive Director, Human Resources, the Manager, Total Rewards, will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic human resources expertise and leading initiatives that support organizational priorities, workforce planning, and operational effectiveness.\nPosition Details\nPermanent Full-Time\nRegina, Saskatchewan\nMonday to Friday | 38.75 hours/week\nEmployment Screening Check required as a condition of employment\nKey Responsibilities\nStrategic Total Rewards Leadership\nLead the design, development, and evolution of compensation, benefits, and employee programs\nEnsure programs remain competitive, sustainable, and aligned with organizational objectives\nPolicy Development & Compensation Strategy\nLead research, analysis, and development of HR policy frameworks related to compensation, collective bargaining, and benefits\nInterpret legislative and regulatory changes and provide strategic recommendations\nSupport alignment between organizational policies and broader government direction\nExecutive Advisory & Financial Analysis\nProvide expert guidance to senior leadership on HR policy, labour relations, compensation, and workforce planning matters\nLead complex costing models, financial analysis, and business case development related to HR initiatives and bargaining decisions\nReporting & Stakeholder Communication\nOversee the consolidation and analysis of large-scale workforce data and reporting\nPrepare briefing materials, presentations, and decision-support documents for executive leadership\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead and mentor team members while supporting broader HR team initiatives\nFoster collaboration, accountability, and professional growth within the department\nPayroll & HRIS Governance\nOversee payroll operations and HRIS architecture\nEnsure legislative compliance, data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system security\nDrive continuous improvement and technology enhancements within HR systems\nQualifications\n10+ years of progressive HR experience in senior-level roles\nStrong background in compensation, payroll governance, HR policy, labour relations, and HRIS management\nExperience supporting organizational change initiatives and strategic business operations\nDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across complex organizations\nUniversity degree in Human Resources or a related field required\nCPHR designation and payroll oversight experience considered strong assets\nKey Competencies\nStrategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities\nStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable recommendations\nDeep understanding of compensation frameworks, labour relations, and employment legislation\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\nHigh level of professionalism, judgment, and discretion handling confidential matters\nProven experience leading projects, policy development, and organizational initiatives\nCollaborative leadership style with strong relationship-building skills\nIf you are a strategic HR leader looking for an opportunity to contribute within a dynamic and influential environment, we would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
