Regular travel between locations will be required.\nCompensation: \n Expected salary range $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects across multiple locations.\nAct as the primary point of contact for restaurant leadership regarding facility and maintenance issues.\nCoordinate plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and general building repairs.\nSchedule and follow up with contractors, trades, and service providers.\nObtain quotes, coordinate service calls, and monitor work quality, timelines, and costs.\nCoordinate smaller renovations, tenant improvements, and property projects.\nSupport larger construction projects and the transition of new or renovated properties into operations.\nConduct site visits to assess issues and monitor work as required.\nMaintain maintenance schedules, project documentation, service records, and warranties.\nSupport health, safety, fire, food service, and building compliance requirements.\nTrack maintenance and project costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.\nIdentify recurring issues and recommend preventive maintenance solutions.\nQualifications\n2-5+ years of experience in project coordination, facilities, maintenance, construction, property management, or a related field.\nExperience coordinating contractors, trades, vendors, and service providers.\nRestaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-site property experience is an asset.\nTrades experience or practical knowledge of building systems and maintenance is an asset.\nExperience with renovations, tenant improvements, or construction projects is an asset.\nStrong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.\nAbility to manage multiple locations and competing priorities.\nPractical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify appropriate solutions or trades.\nBasic understanding of budgeting, quoting, and cost control.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and project or maintenance tracking systems.\nValid BC driver’s license and ability to travel between locations.\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
