They are looking for a Project Manager to lead complex technical projects from planning through delivery. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, Contracts, and Supply Chain to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to customer requirements. Due to the nature of the projects, candidates must be eligible to obtain a Canadian Controlled Goods assessment and a Canadian Reliability and/or NATO Secret security clearance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead cross-functional project teams and keep projects on track\nDevelop project proposals, quotations, scopes, schedules, and budgets\nManage project timelines, milestones, costs, and deliverables\nMonitor project performance and implement corrective actions when needed\nCoordinate resources across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance\nIdentify and manage project risks and opportunities\nTrack project progress using Earned Value Management (EVM) and other metrics\nPrepare project status reports and presentations for customers and internal leadership\nManage customer and subcontractor relationships\nReview project deliverables for accuracy and completeness\nIdentify opportunities to improve project processes and delivery\nEscalate issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of project management experience, ideally in:Defence\nAerospace\nManufacturing\nOther complex technical environments\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field - or equivalent experience\nPMP certification or equivalent is an asset\nStrong experience with project scheduling, reporting, and performance tracking\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Project\nUnderstanding of project budgets, financial reporting, and Earned Value Management\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills\nExperience working with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
