The team operates with a self-sufficient mindset while maintaining an open, supportive office environment.\nAbout the Opportunity\n This is a permanent, full-time Project Manager position with strong runway for growth as the organization expands its operations and leadership bench. The successful hire will play a key role delivering commercial renovation/TI work, including a steady stream of government projects where professionalism, documentation, and schedule control are essential.\nProjects are typically shorter-duration and fast-moving, with this PM focused on the larger files in the portfolio.\n\nAbout the Position\n Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Manager will lead multiple projects concurrently and manage the full project lifecycle, including:\nSupporting estimating/tendering (trade packages, RFIs, walkthroughs, proposals)\nManaging scope, budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk\nPreparing/maintaining project documentation (progress tracking, change management, billings)\nBuilding and updating project schedules\nChairing project and site meetings\nManaging relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners\nAligning with site leadership/superintendents on execution standards\nReviewing/approving subcontractor and vendor payment requests\nLeading closeout (deficiencies, outstanding items, turnover)\nEnsuring safety program compliance across assigned projects\nQualifications\n3+ years experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction\n3+ years of Canadian commercial construction experience\nExperience managing multiple projects with ownership of schedule + financials\nStrong client/stakeholder communication and meeting leadership\nAble to read and interpret contracts and project requirements\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)\nValid Class 5 driver’s license; able to attend site visits/travel as required\nAble to maintain a clear criminal record (government/security clearance projects)\nOrganized, deadline-driven, comfortable coordinating off-hours work when needed\nAssets\nProcore experience\nPost-secondary education (Engineering, Construction Management, or related)\nExisting Calgary subtrade relationships\nHigh learning agility with interest in long-term growth\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary: $110,000-$145,000 per annum, commensurate with experience\nBonus: typically 5-15% annually (company performance based)\nBenefits: standard plan\nVacation: 3 weeks\nVehicle allowance: negotiable\nRRSP/Equity: none\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
