We want to hear from you!\nAs a Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for assigned project budgets, schedules, quality, and resource requirements under the direction of the Project Director. You will have the authority and resources required to successfully achieve established project objectives.\nWhat You Will Do\nWork closely with Preconstruction Services to prepare and/or oversee the preparation of project Control Budgets.\nParticipate in contract negotiations, including meetings and communications with Owners, Architects, and Consultants from concept design through contract signing.\nPrepare Letters of Intent for trades on Construction Management projects.\nCoordinate with the Contracts Manager to ensure appropriate contract templates, Letters of Intent, and schedules are used.\nManage the day-to-day execution of construction projects, ensuring compliance with the Master Schedule, Control Budget, Contract Documents, and project requirements.\nManage the receipt, logging, and distribution of drawings, specifications, shop drawings, colour schedules, contemplated change orders, change orders, site instructions, consultant reports, concrete and material tests, inspection reports, and RFIs.\nMonitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, budget, quality, and coordination issues.\nMaintain strong communication with project stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.\nThis Role Could Be for You If You Have\nBachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.\n6-8 years of construction experience preferred, ideally working on high-rise residential projects.\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong understanding of construction processes, building codes, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.\nExperience with project management software such as Procore and SharePoint.\nAbility to manage complex documentation while maintaining accuracy in project tracking.\nExperience coordinating with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.\nCompensation and Benefits\nSalary: Up to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.\nVacation: 15 days per calendar year.\nPaid Sick Days: 6 days per calendar year.\nPaid Personal Days: 3 days per calendar year.\nExtended Health Benefits: Comprehensive benefits coverage available after three months of employment.\nRRSP Program: Employer contribution of $80 per biweekly pay period ($2,080 annually) after three months of employment, plus matching of personal contributions up to an additional $2,000 per calendar year.\nHealth & Wellness Benefit: Up to $600 in reimbursements.\nTraining & Development: Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.\nEducational Assistance: Tuition reimbursement of up to $2,000 per year upon successful completion of eligible courses.\nProfessional Memberships: Reimbursement for professional membership fees.\nCompany Culture: Social events, company gatherings, and opportunities for community involvement.\nFinal compensation may vary depending on the successful candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.\nAbout the Opportunity\nThis is an opportunity to join an established construction organization specializing in residential high-rises, mixed-use developments, and select commercial projects, with projects ranging from approximately $1 million to $600 million.\nThe organization has delivered more than 200 residential, institutional, and commercial projects across Western Canada and has experience delivering complex projects in major urban markets, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, and Nanaimo.\nThe company places a strong emphasis on quality construction, collaborative relationships, professionalism, and delivering successful project outcomes.\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
