Aplin is looking for a driven, results-oriented Recruiter to join our Vancouver team. This is an opportunity for a proven salesperson to build a career in recruitment, leveraging your prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills to build a successful recruitment desk.
Our recruiters specialize across a range of industries, including Accounting & Finance, Insurance, Legal, Construction, Property and more. Depending on your experience, interests and our business needs, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of our specialized recruitment divisions.

What You’ll Do:
As a Recruiter on our Vancouver team, you’ll build strong relationships with top talent and connect them to great opportunities with our clients.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates within your specialized vertical.
- Proactively source candidates through networking, referrals, social media, cold outreach, and direct recruiting.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ experience, skills, career goals, and overall fit for client opportunities.
- Coordinate interviews, manage feedback, and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers to understand client needs and deliver exceptional talent on searches.
- Negotiate offers, facilitate placements, and help close successful hires across contract and permanent positions.
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with candidates while staying informed on industry trends.
- Manage placed contractors throughout their assignments to ensure a positive experience for both clients and candidates.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a driven sales professional who is excited to build a successful career in recruitment. Previous recruitment experience is an asset, but a strong sales background and proven track record of success are equally valuable.
- 1-5 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, agency recruitment, account management or a related sales environment.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, quotas or KPIs.
- Experience or knowledge in a professional industry such as Accounting & Finance, Insurance, Legal, Construction, Property, or another relevant sector is an asset.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
- Competitive and results-driven, with the motivation to build a successful desk and grow your earning potential.
- Previous recruitment or staffing experience is an asset but not required.
