Are you a CPA or aspiring CPA looking for an opportunity to take greater ownership of your work, expand your technical experience and make a meaningful contribution to a well-established organization?\nAplin is partnering with a respected Saskatchewan-based commercial real estate organization to recruit a Senior Accountant for its Saskatoon team.\nReporting directly to the Accounting Manager, you’ll join a collaborative team where your expertise will be valued and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills across financial reporting, partnership accounting and year-end processes.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nPreparing year-end working papers for limited partnerships under ASPE and IFRS, including related T5013 tax documentation.\nPerforming financial analysis, banking transaction reporting and annual occupancy cost reconciliations.\nSupporting audit preparation, including responding to auditor requests and testing requirements.\nCollaborating with the Accounting Manager and broader team on accounting and reporting activities.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nMinimum two years of progressive accounting experience, including year-end working paper preparation.\nCPA designation, completion of the CPA program or active progress toward designation.\nStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.\nA proactive, self-motivated approach and excellent interpersonal skills.\nExperience with CaseWare, related-entity accounting, ASPE/IFRS or commercial real estate would be considered an asset.\nWhy You’ll Love This Opportunity Beyond joining an established Saskatchewan organization, you’ll enjoy a competitive compensation package and a workplace that values both professional growth and work-life balance.\n$85,000-$90,000 base salary based on a 37.5-hour work week.\n Paid year-end overtime and bonus opportunities, with approximately 60-80 hours of additional work expected during year-end and flexibility in scheduling.\nGroup benefits and a Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP).\nEarned Day Off (EDO) program.\nOn-site parking and gym facilities.\nStaff events and a collaborative team environment.\nInterested in Learning More?
