They run a collaborative, open-office environment where people are expected to operate with ownership and follow-through.\nThey’re scaling significantly over the next year and there is real runway for driven individuals who want progression and increasing responsibility.\nAbout the Opportunity\n You’ll support a project team delivering primarily commercial renovations and tenant improvements, with a strong concentration of government work (offices, schools, courthouses, prisons). Projects tend to be short-cycle and execution-focused:\nTypical project size: ~$200K to $6.5M\nTypical duration: ~6 months or less\nMinimal new-build work\nAbout the Position\n Reporting to a Calgary Project Manager, the Senior Project Coordinator will support the PM and field team through all stages of project execution, with a focus on organization, documentation, communication, and day-to-day coordination.\nKey responsibilities include:\nAssist the project team with coordination and overall project support\nManage and assist with project administration including:Safety paperwork\nShop drawings\nRFIs\nPurchase orders\nChange notices\nProject closeout / completion documentation\n\nAssemble, attend, document, and minute project meetings alongside the Project Manager\nTroubleshoot project demands and requirements; support issue resolution\nReview construction documents and ensure all affected parties are informed\nMaintain accurate project files, logs, and documentation in line with company procedures\nQualifications\n4+ years experience as a Project Coordinator (commercial construction required) with a proven track record supporting teams and coordinating deliverables\nMinimum 3 years of Canadian commercial construction experience\nValid Class 5 driver’s license with ability to attend site and travel as needed\nAbility to maintain a clear criminal record (government/security clearance related projects)\nStrong communication skills-able to relay key information to PMs and field teams\nIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)\nHighly organized, deadline-driven, and able to perform under pressure\nAssets:\n Procore experience (strongly preferred)\nExisting relationships with Calgary subtrades (asset, not required)\nStrong understanding of contract documents (specs, RFIs, COs, etc.)\nHigh learning agility with interest in upward career growth\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase Salary: $85,000-$90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience\nBonus: Annual; typically 5-15% based on company performance\nBenefits: Standard benefits\nVehicle allowance: Negotiable\nVacation: 3 weeks\nRRSP/Equity: None\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
