Specializing in ground-up construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and commercial fit-outs, the company has built a strong portfolio across the restaurant, retail, office, and institutional sectors. With expertise spanning pre-construction, project management, and construction management, they take a hands-on approach to delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. They pride themselves on strong client relationships, attention to detail, and collaborative partnerships with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.\n\nAbout The Opportunity\nYou will be running a portfolio of TI projects from beginning until completion with projects valued up to $20m. You will have one Project Coordinator and three Superintendents reporting directly to you.\nThis opportunity is available to candidates based in Surrey, Langley, Burnaby, New Westminster, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Chilliwack, Vancouver, Delta, and Richmond.\n\nAbout The Position\nLead tenant improvement projects from pre-construction and planning through to execution, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.\nManage multiple commercial TI projects concurrently, including office fit-outs, retail spaces, restaurants, and commercial renovations.\nOversee project budgets, cost forecasting, cash flow, change orders, and financial reporting to maintain profitability and control project costs.\nCoordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery and clear communication across all stakeholders.\nReview construction drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents to identify potential risks, scope gaps, and opportunities for value engineering.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective measures to address delays and changing project requirements.\nManage client relationships, leading project meetings, providing regular progress updates, and ensuring expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with building codes, health and safety regulations, quality standards, and applicable permitting requirements.\nIdentify and resolve construction issues, design conflicts, and site challenges while maintaining project timelines and minimizing disruption to building occupants where applicable.\nOversee project closeout, including deficiencies, inspections, commissioning, as-built documentation, warranties, and final turnover to clients.\nThe Requirements\n10+ years’ experience in a Project Manager position.\nTI project experience in retail, commercial, shopping malls, restaurants and offices.\nOwns the full project cycle: budgets and forecasts, POs to trades, scheduling, consultant coordination and reporting.\nRelevant 3rd level Qualification.\nCompensation & Benefits\nSalary: $130,000 - $145,000 DOE\nMileage Reimbursement\nHealth & Dental Benefits\nThree weeks vacation\nAt Aplin - together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems - we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
