You will provide advanced technical expertise across Microsoft 365, cloud, networking, security, and modern workplace technologies.\nThis is a hands-on, senior role combining complex problem-solving, project delivery, and continuous improvement. You will take ownership of technical initiatives, strengthen the reliability and security of our environment, mentor junior team members, and help shape the future direction of our modern workplace and cloud platforms.\nYour work will directly support our clinicians and business support teams, enabling them to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients across Australia.\nWhat You’ll Do\nContribute to the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365, cloud, and infrastructure platforms across the organisation.\n\nAct as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking, security, and Microsoft 365 related incidents and problems.\n\nProactively identify risks, opportunities, and recurring issues, implementing improvements that strengthen the security, reliability, and performance of the environment.\n\nLead technical projects from planning and design through to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of business and technology outcomes.\n\nCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable technology solutions.\n\nCreate and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, as-built documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.\n\nMentor and coach junior engineers, sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and helping build technical capability across the team.\n\nContribute to infrastructure standards, governance, security controls, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational and industry best practices.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\nRequired Experience/Skills\nAt least 3 years’ experience in a senior infrastructure engineering role within a medium to large enterprise environment.\n\nStrong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 technologies, including Entra, Defender XDR, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Teams.\n\nProficiency working with Azure services (Compute, Storage, networking, security).\n\nStrong knowledge of identity and access management, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and identity collaboration solutions.\n\nStrong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.\n\nDemonstrated experience supporting network infrastructure within an enterprise environment, including VPNs, Firewalls, switching infrastructure and WiFi.\n\nProven ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and deliver practical solutions.\n\nProven experience delivering technical projects in complex environments.\n\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to learning and professional development.\n\nDesirable Experience/Skills\nExperience supporting Salesforce based solutions.\n\nExperience using ServiceNow for IT service management, including incident and request fulfilment, knowledge management, and IT asset management.\n\nExperience with Multi-Tenant Organisation (MTO), B2B collaboration, and single sign-on solutions.\n\nKnowledge of relevant security frameworks such as ASD Essential 8, and Microsoft security and compliance capabilities.\n\nExperience working in a geographically distributed, multi-site organisation.\n\nRelevant Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Security or Endpoint Administrator certifications.\n\nITIL certification or experience working within structured IT service management environments.\n\nEmployment Requirements:\nAustralian Citizenship or permanent residency.\n\nNational police clearance.\n\nNDIS Worker Screening Check.\n\nValid Working with Children check for the relevant state or territory.\n\nWhat You’ll Get\nA chance to make a meaningful impact in the therapy services sector.\n\nEnjoy a flexible approach to working that supports work-life balance.\n\nCareer growth and progression options across multiple business lines.\n\nEmployee benefits like discounted health insurance, salary packaging and purchased annual leave.\n\nOpportunities for professional development.\n\nAbout Us\nAt Early Start Australia and Everyday Independence, we're united by a shared purpose: to improve outcomes for children, adults, and families through high-quality allied health and disability services.
