You will manage end-to-end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, partnering closely with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and wants to build strong expertise in customs brokerage while contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou will take ownership of daily customs brokerage operations for assigned customers, including:\nServe as a trusted point of contact for customers, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate shipment updates\n\nPrepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings, ensuring full regulatory compliance\n\nOpen and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standards\n\nCoordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and container freight stations (CFS) to ensure timely release\n\nTrack and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final delivery\n\nEnsure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systems\n\nComplete customer billing, delivery orders, and required operational reports\n\nMaintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed\n\nCollaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to support coverage, cross-training, and peak-volume needs\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nYou’ll be successful in this role if you consistently demonstrate:\nTimely and accurate processing of shipments within agreed KPIs\n\nHigh attention to detail and data accuracy\n\nStrong adherence to company policies and all CBP and PGA regulations\n\nProactive communication and follow-through with customers and internal partners\n\nReliable submission of delivery orders and required documentation\n\nYour Impact\nIn this role, you are accountable for helping drive:\nCustomer experience & quality - delivering on service commitments and building trust\n\nCompliance & process maturity - ensuring regulatory adherence and operational consistency\n\nOperational efficiency & cost control - supporting productivity and standardized processes\n\nTechnology adoption - contributing to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives\n\nWho You’ll Work With\nInternal partners include:\nCHB Operations Managers and Leaders\n\nSenior CHB Operations Associates\n\nRegional CHB Leadership\n\nProgram and Implementation Managers\n\nCHB Compliance and IT teams\n\nExternal partners include:\nAssigned customs brokerage customers\n\nGovernment agencies (CBP, FDA, USDA, and others)\n\nCHB systems and technology vendors\n\nRequired / Preferred Qualifications:\n6-12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experience\n\nAt least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment preferred\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nTeam-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability\n\nBachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)\n\nCustoms House Broker License preferred but not required\n\nLocations Available:\nAtlanta, Georgia\n\nCharlotte, North Carolina\n\nNew York, New York\n\nFlorham Park, New Jersey\n\nBaltimore, Maryland\n\nLos Angeles, California\n\nSalary: $56,000 - $60,000*\nBenefits: Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match\n* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position.
