KeyResponsibilities:

• LeadanddevelopateamofNetworkEngineersandSeniorNetworkEngineers,settingpriorities,objectives,andperformanceexpectations.

• Manageoperationaldemandacrossincidents,servicerequests,probleminvestigations,andplannedchangeswhilebalancingengineeringdeliverycommitments.

• Overseethedelivery,operation,andcontinuousimprovementofLAN,WAN,SD-WAN,andNFVservicesacrossregionalsites.

• Coordinatetechnicalescalationsandmajorincidentresponses,ensuringeffectivecollaborationwithinternalstakeholders,vendors,anddeliverypartners.

• Drivelifecyclemanagement,technicaldebtreduction,automationinitiatives,servicestandardisation,andreliabilityimprovements.

• PartnerwithProduct,Architecture,andCyberSecurityteamstoensurealignmentwithglobalstandards,referencearchitectures,andsecuritycontrols.

• Manageregionalnetworkrisks,capacity,resilience,performance,andsupplierrelationshipswhileprovidingvisibilityofdeliveryprogressandoperationaloutcomes.

• Demonstratedexperienceleadingnetworkengineeringteamswithinalargeenterprise,serviceprovider,systemsintegrator,ormanagedservicesenvironment.

• StrongtechnicalunderstandingofenterpriseLAN,WLAN,WAN,andSD-WANtechnologies,includingrouting,switching,segmentation,resilience,security,andhighavailability.

• Experiencedeliveringandoperatingnetworkservicesacrossgeographicallydistributedsitessuchasoffices,warehouses,terminals,manufacturingfacilities,orotheroperationalenvironments.

• KnowledgeofSD-WANplatformssuchasCiscoCatalystSD-WAN,CiscoMeraki,orFortinetSecureSD-WAN,alongsidepracticalunderstandingofnetworksecurityprinciplesandsegmentation.

• Experiencemanagingmajorincidents,technicalescalations,rootcauseinvestigations,correctiveactionplans,andserviceimprovementprogrammes.

• Strongstakeholdermanagement,communication,peopleleadership,coaching,workforceplanning,andvendormanagementcapabilities.

• Familiaritywithnetworkautomation,APIs,Python,Ansible,InfrastructureasCode,observability,SASE/SSE,cloudnetworking,Agiledelivery,andITILpracticesisadvantageous.

• RelevantprofessionalcertificationssuchasCiscoCCNPEnterprise,CiscoorFortinetSD-WANcertifications,HPEAruba,Juniper,orequivalentaredesirable.
