Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.\nIn this role, you will also benefit from:\nWork in a highly operational environment where inventory management directly supports business continuity and equipment availability.\nDevelop expertise in inventory planning, forecasting, stock control, and ERP-based inventory management processes.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive inventory optimization and cost-saving initiatives.\nContribute to continuous improvement activities that strengthen operational efficiency and supply chain performance.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze inventory data to support effective stock management and informed decision-making.\nReview Material Requirement Planning (MRP) activities and monitor inventory demand requirements.\nProcess and monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations.\nTrack purchased inventory versus issued inventory and provide regular reporting on inventory performance.\nMonitor open purchase orders and conduct high-value inventory reviews to support replenishment planning.\nLead inventory clean-up and cost-saving initiatives to optimize stock holdings and inventory accuracy.\nCoordinate cycle counts, perpetual counts, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain stock accuracy.\nConduct goods receipt verification and inspection activities in collaboration with end users.\nPrepare inventory reports and monitor planned material status against operational forecasts.\nWhat We Are Looking For\nContinuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset-curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.\nMinimum of an HND or BSc degree in a relevant discipline.\n3-4 years of relevant experience in inventory control, inventory management, warehousing, or related supply chain functions.\nGood understanding of inventory management principles, stock control processes, and inventory optimization techniques.\nProficiency in ERP systems and computer applications used for inventory planning, tracking, and reporting.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret inventory and operational data.\nEffective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills to work across multiple stakeholders.\nAbility to manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.\nStrong reporting and attention-to-detail capabilities with a focus on inventory accuracy and operational excellence.\nProfessional proficiency in English.\nThe successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate inventory management, maintaining optimal stock availability, supporting procurement and replenishment activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to operational reliability, cost efficiency, and business performance at APM Terminals.
