BIM ensures that new and transforming terminals are delivered and integrated in a consistent way, applying APMT standards and enabling safe, efficient, and scalable operations from day one.\nAbout the BIM Rapid Deployment Team\nThe BIM Rapid Deployment Team is an internal initiative designed to create a deployable pool of experienced operational leaders and future talent who can support critical phases of project execution, especially during pre- and post- go-live.\nAs part of this programme, you will operate from a home terminal in a real operational role while being deployable to BIM projects globally. Over the span of this assignment, you will contribute both to daily operations and to project execution, ensuring continuity, operational discipline, and capability build in new and transforming terminals.\nWhat We Can Offer\nThis role offers a unique combination of operational leadership in a terminal environment and exposure to global project execution, providing a breadth of experience that is not typically available within a single role.\nOpportunity to work in a home terminal while participating in global deployments across multiple projects and locations\nDirect involvement in ramp-ups, go-lives, and stabilisation of new or transforming terminals, gaining hands-on project execution experience\nAccelerated development through exposure to different operating models, geographies, challenges, and leadership contexts\nOpportunity to apply and deepen expertise in APMT Business System, operational excellence, and continuous improvement practices in high-impact environments\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLead on-site IT readiness and implementation for ramp-up, go-live, and stabilisation phases, ensuring systems support operational execution from day one\nAssess and communicate IT prerequisites and gaps, aligning local and global teams to close gaps effectively\nSupport implementation of FLOW IT tools, TOS integrations, and system configurations in new or transforming terminals\nProvide hands-on technical coordination in high-pressure environments, ensuring continuity of IT services and rapid issue resolution\nAdjust and track IT implementation plans, timelines, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with project delivery milestones\nSupport setup of IT processes and governance, including incident management, escalation paths, and system support structures\nEnable capability transfer to local teams, providing training, guidance, and support on systems and tools\nFill critical short-term capability gaps in IT, system integration, and operational technology environments\nContribute to continuous improvement and standardisation, sharing learnings and supporting development of global IT practices\nAct as a role model of APMT values, demonstrating collaboration, discipline, and adaptability across diverse environments\nCore Responsibilities (Terminal - business as usual)\nSupport implementation and operation of IT systems and solutions (including TOS, infrastructure, and integrations) to enable stable terminal performance\nAssess IT requirements, system dependencies, and infrastructure readiness to support operational and project needs\nCoordinate and track IT activities, ensuring alignment with operational priorities and project timelines\nSupport execution of IT lifecycle activities, including system configuration, testing, deployment, and issue resolution\nMonitor IT performance and identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities impacting operations\nCollaborate with global and local IT, Operations, and Planning teams to ensure integrated system delivery\nSupport documentation of IT processes, workflows, and system requirements\nProvide user support and guidance on IT tools, ensuring effective system utilisation\nWhat We Are Looking For\nProven experience in IT implementation, infrastructure, or system deployment roles, preferably in industrial, logistics, or terminal environments, supported by a minimum of 5 years’ experience\nStrong understanding of IT systems supporting operations, including TOS, infrastructure, integrations, and operational technology environments\nExperience in system implementation and deployment, including testing, configuration, and go-live support\nContinuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who applies structured problem-solving, identifies system gaps, and drives improvements in IT performance and operational support\nStrong understanding of project delivery and coordination, with ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional inputs\nExperience working with IT support processes and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is an advantage\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with ability to resolve system issues and translate technical challenges into operational impacts\nAbility to collaborate across IT, Operations, Planning, and external vendors to ensure aligned delivery\nStrong communication skills, with ability to engage both technical and operational stakeholders\nAbility to operate effectively in dynamic, high-pressure, and evolving environments, particularly during project deployments\nHigh level of mobility and adaptability, with willingness to support global deployments across terminals and Shared Planning Centers\nFluent English is required.
