Perform installation, monitoring, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of integrated technologies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nResponsible for both proactive and reactive monitoring of alerts such as Routers, Network switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, LoadBalancers & Proxies.\n\nAnalyze alerts and take appropriate actions such as troubleshooting, escalation, or remediation.\n\nMonitor the performance and health of our Maersk network estate.\n\nWork with the engineering team to ensure optimal application performance and user experience.\n\nOperates data communication systems, including WAN, LAN, WLAN and Perimeter.\n\nAbility in diagnosing WAN/LAN/Perimeter issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine and implement the appropriate next steps.\n\nOperates data communication systems, including WAN, LAN, WLAN and Perimeter.\n\nCapability to assess business impact prior to implementing any change procedure.\n\nRespond to network incidents efficiently, following established procedures for diagnosis, resolution, and documentation.\n\nWork with the engineering team to develop and implement infrastructure automation tools.\n\nPerform daily system checks to ensure critical systems and services are operational\n\nExperience with incident management methodologies (ITIL)\n\nAdhered to defined KPI’s and SOP’s\n\nTechnical skills:\nExperience with event logging & network monitoring tools such as Solarwinds , Netcool , LibreNMS , ThousandEyes , Extra Hop & Splunk\n\nDeep understanding of the OSI model.\n\nSolid knowledge of TCP/IP\n\nExperience with packet captures and analysis with Wireshark.\n\nExperience with Firewalls such as Cisco ASA/Checkpoint Firewalls\n\nConduct layered isolation at network and application tiers to mitigate operational issues.\n\n-Key skills for L2 protocols are Spanning Tree modes PVST+, RSTP, LACP, 802.1q, VTP, VLAN, ARP and understanding of DTP, LLDP, CDP, PAgP\n\nKey skills for L3 network protocols are HSRP, NAT, OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, DMVPN\n\nAdditional protocols to support services/management for both network and end users such as IPSec, DHCP, DNS and authentication such as Radius/TACACS.\n\nGeneral networking and security troubleshooting (Firewalls, LoadBalancers, Proxies , Routing & Switching)\n\nBasic Scripting and development skills with knowledge of regular expressions\n\nFamiliarity with key events on common IT platforms\n\nBasic understanding of Microsoft technologies, e.g. AD, Windows Server, Hyper V, Exchange, O365, SQL Server, Microsoft Dynamics, IIS, Azure and web hosting\n\nA big plus if you have experience in the following areas:\nExperience with any of Checkpoint, Fortinet & Cisco ASA Firewalls.\n\nCisco Nexus Switches and technologies\n\nExperience with F5 load balancers and Zscaler Proxies.\n\nFundamental certification in any of any Azure, GCP or AWS.\n\nWho we are looking for:\nExcellent troubleshooting follow-up & cross-team collaboration skills.\n\nEngaging with key stakeholders to configure tailored monitoring solutions, dashboards and alerts.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.
