This role includes truck arrangement, shipment monitoring, system updates, communication with customers and transporters, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.Key Duties and Responsibilities\nReceive and process all transportation orders from Business Units (BUs) and arrange trucking requirements through manual planning.\nIssue truck booking pre-alerts to transporters via WhatsApp and follow up with official email notifications for billing purposes.\nArrange truck bookings based on the PGI (Post Goods Issue) date or RDD (Requested Delivery Date) requested by customers.\nPlan orders and trucks using the OTM system (buy and sell process simultaneously) and update OTM IDs in truck requests daily.\nRegister and monitor Shipment IDs in SCE TMS to ensure drivers perform pickup and delivery scanning within the required timeline.\nEnsure all customer orders are planned for delivery and verify that no orders are missed in both SCE and OTM systems.\nMonitor truck movements and provide timely status updates through WhatsApp groups involving customers and transporters.\nCoordinate and arrange Stock Returns and Store-to-Store stock transfers requested by customers, including updating the relevant return trackers in shared folders.\nInform the Billing Team via email regarding any rate changes, new customer setups, or special transportation arrangements.\nLiaise with the Project Team to resolve any system issues encountered during planning activities.\nEnsure proper handover arrangements during absence and maintain close communication with team members for continuity of operations.\nProvide support to colleagues who are absent to ensure smooth execution of daily operations.\nEnsure all trucks arrive according to the scheduled loading booking time.\nMonitor drivers’ compliance during loading activities and ensure adherence to all warehouse and customer house rules, including safety requirements.\nReport any abnormalities, operational issues, or exceptions encountered during arrangements with customers or transporters to the superior promptly.\nPerform any other related duties assigned by superiors.\nEnsure all daily operational tasks are completed by End of Day (EOD).\nRequirements / Competencies\nGood coordination and planning skills.\nAbility to manage multiple shipments and delivery arrangements simultaneously.\nStrong communication and follow-up skills with customers, transporters, and internal teams.\nFamiliarity with transportation management systems such as OTM and SCE TMS is an added advantage.\nKnowledge of logistics operations, truck scheduling, and delivery processes.\nAttention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.\nGood teamwork and problem-solving capabilities\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
