At Maersk, we take pride in hiring the best person for the job - irrespective of gender, age, nationality, or religious belief.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCompliance & Auditing\nMonitor and ensure ongoing adherence to BBBEE legislation, codes, reporting and sector specific requirements.\nConduct regular internal audits to assess compliance and identify improvement areas.\nPrepare and submit BBBEE compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.\nStrategy & Transformation\nCollaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement BBBEE strategies aligned\nwith organisational goals.\nAnalyse current initiatives and recommend enhancements to promote economic\nempowerment and transformation.\nStay updated on industry trends, sector codes, and best practices.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nCollect, analyse, and interpret data on employment equity, ownership, skills development, and enterprise development.\nIdentify trends, patterns, and opportunities to inform decision-making.\nProduce comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.\n Stakeholder Engagement\nWork with internal teams (People Operations, Payroll, Finance & Legal) to integrate BBBEE into business processes.\nBuild relationships with external bodies such as government agencies, industry\nassociations, and BBBEE verification agencies.\nTraining, Awareness & Change Management\nPromote awareness of BBBEE, Employment Equity and transformation objectives across the organization.\nDevelop and deliver awareness sessions and guidance materials for managers and\nemployees.\nSupport initiatives that foster diversity, inclusion and equitable workplace practices.\nAssist in driving transformation-related communication campaigns and engagement\nactivities.\nAdministrative & Learning Support\nMaintain accurate personnel and training records in accordance with company policies\nand compliance requirements.\nProvide administrative support for audits, inspections, employee programs and People-\nrelated projects.\nWHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:\nSomeone with:\nBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field.\n\nMinimum 5 years' experience in BBBEE compliance, transformation, Employment\n\nEquity, HR Compliance or a related role.\n\nExperience supporting BBBEE verification audits and scorecard management.\n\nExperience within a multinational or matrix organisation.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capability.\n\nData interpretation, dashboard reporting and trend analysis.\n\nAudit preparation and document management.\n\nReport writing and presentation development.\n\nExcellent planning, organisation and administrative skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nHigh level of integrity and confidentiality\n\nMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
