Services Inc.Position Summary\nThe Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, stability, security, and lifecycle management of the enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.\nThis role serves as the primary technical administrator for D365 and works closely with business functional teams, IT technical teams, Microsoft, implementation partners, and managed service providers to ensure the platform remains stable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise standards.\nThe role will initially support the Corporate Dynamics 365 implementation and will ultimately have enterprise responsibility for the D365 platform as additional segments and capabilities-including Finance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Management-are deployed.\nKey Responsibilities\nD365 Platform Administration\nServe as the primary administrator for Microsoft Dynamics 365.\nManage Development, Test/SIT, UAT, and Production environments.\nManage environment configuration, refreshes, copies, backups, restores, and other lifecycle activities.\nAdminister D365 through the appropriate Microsoft administration tools, including Power Platform Admin Center and Lifecycle Services (LCS).\nMonitor platform health, capacity, system performance, batch processing, and recurring jobs.\nTroubleshoot application and platform issues and coordinate resolution with Microsoft or external support partners when needed.\nMaintain platform configuration and technical documentation.\nSecurity & Access\nAdminister users, roles, duties, privileges, and security assignments.\nSupport role-based access controls and least privilege standards.\nSupport segregation-of-duties (SOD), user access reviews, and SOX control requirements.\nCoordinate D365 access with Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise identity processes.\nAssist with security troubleshooting and access-related incidents.\nMaintain documentation supporting security and audit requirements.\nRelease & Environment Management\nCoordinate D365 releases, updates, patches, and deployments.\nManage movement of solutions and changes through Development, Test, UAT, and Production.\nSupport Azure DevOps and established CI/CD processes.\nCoordinate release schedules with functional teams, developers, integration teams, and implementation partners.\nValidate environments following deployments, refreshes, updates, and maintenance.\nSupport Microsoft One Version/service update planning and testing.\nApplication Support\nProvide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for D365.\nTroubleshoot configuration, environment, security, batch, workflow, integration, and performance issues.\nWork with functional analysts to determine whether issues are configuration, data, integration, custom-code, or platform related.\nEscalate product issues to Microsoft and manage them through resolution.\nCoordinate with managed service providers and implementation partners where additional expertise is required.\nIdentify recurring issues and opportunities to improve platform stability and supportability.\nIntegrations & Technical Coordination\nMonitor and troubleshoot integrations between D365 and enterprise applications.\nWork with integration and data teams supporting APIs, Dataverse, Azure services, Fabric/Databricks, file-based integrations, and other integration technologies.\nAssist with service accounts, endpoints, authentication, connectivity, and integration security.\nCoordinate troubleshooting across D365, integration, data, and external application teams.\nMaintain awareness of integration dependencies when planning D365 releases and environment changes.\nPlatform Governance\nMaintain D365 technical and administrative standards.\nHelp establish consistent environment, security, release, and support processes.\nParticipate in D365 platform governance and change management.\nMaintain system inventories, environment documentation, configuration standards, and support procedures.\nWork with architecture and development teams to ensure extensions and customizations follow established standards.\nHelp reduce unnecessary customization and technical debt.\nSupport future D365 implementations and onboarding of additional business units/legal entities.\nPartner & Vendor Management\nCoordinate technical activities with Microsoft, implementation partners, and managed service providers.\nReview partner technical recommendations and ensure they align with internal standards.\nAssist with transitioning knowledge and responsibilities from implementation partners to internal IT.\nEnsure documentation and operational knowledge are maintained internally.\nReduce long-term dependency on implementation partners for routine D365 administration.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics AX environments.\nStrong hands-on experience administering Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.\nExperience managing D365 environments, security, users, roles, batch jobs, releases, and application lifecycle activities.\nExperience with Power Platform Admin Center and Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).\nUnderstanding of Dynamics 365 role-based security.\nExperience troubleshooting D365 application and technical issues.\nUnderstanding of D365 integrations, APIs, Dataverse, and Microsoft Azure technologies.\nExperience working with Azure DevOps or similar development/release management tools.\nUnderstanding of enterprise change management and release management practices.\nAbility to work effectively with functional analysts, developers, integration teams, infrastructure/security teams, business users, and external partners.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Dynamics 365 Finance.\nExperience with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.\nExperience supporting D365 in a multi-company or multi-legal-entity environment.\nExperience supporting manufacturing organizations.\nExperience with Microsoft Power Platform.\nFamiliarity with Azure integration services.\nFamiliarity with Fabric, Databricks, Power BI, or enterprise data platforms.\nExperience supporting SOX-controlled applications.\nExperience transitioning D365 implementations from project teams to operational support.\nMicrosoft Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred.\nSalary Range is $130,000 - $160,000 + annual bonus
