This role serves as a key liaison between Accounts Payable, business stakeholders and the service provider to help ensure operational performance, service level commitments and internal control requirements are met.\nWorking closely with the Sr. AP Shared Services Manager, this position monitors operational performance, supports vendor governance activities, assists with issue resolution, prepares performance reporting and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.\nResponsibilities\nVendor & Operational Management\nServe as the primary day-to-day contact for the Accounts Payable managed services provider.\nCoordinate communications between internal stakeholders and vendor leadership.\nSupport operational and governance meetings.\nMonitor vendor performance against established SLAs and KPIs.\nEscalate significant operational concerns to AP leadership.\nAP Operations & GRNI Oversight\nMonitor operational performance, including processing volumes, productivity, backlog and cycle times.\nSupport GRNI monitoring, reporting and resolution activities.\nMonitor invoice exception trends and coordinate with AP Analysts on recurring issues.\nIdentify operational risks and support corrective actions.\nSupport oversight of additional Accounts Payable processes and functions as assigned.\nIssue Resolution & Performance Management\nSupport resolution of invoice processing, GRNI and operational workflow issues.\nCoordinate with AP Analysts, business stakeholders and the service provider to address process issues.\nEscalate recurring or significant issues requiring management intervention.\nSupport root-cause analysis and development of sustainable solutions.\nReporting & Close Support\nPrepare operational reporting, KPI analysis and performance summaries.\nSupport vendor performance reviews and governance activities.\nMaintain AP accrual reporting and required intercompany reporting.\nCoordinate with Corporate and Segment Controllers to support month-end close and reporting requirements.\nContinuous Improvement\nSupport initiatives to improve AP operational performance and efficiency.\nParticipate in implementation of process enhancements, automation and standardization efforts.\nTrack improvement actions and monitor results.\nRecommend opportunities to improve service delivery and close-related activities.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), shared services or related operational finance functions.\nExperience supporting or overseeing outsourced operations, managed services providers or third-party service delivery relationships.\nExperience monitoring operational performance through KPIs, SLAs and reporting metrics.\nStrong understanding of Accounts Payable operations, procure-to-pay processes, three-way matching and internal controls.\nDemonstrated analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across organizational levels.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with Accounts Payable outsourced service providers or BPO environments.\nExperience supporting month-end close, AP accruals or related accounting processes.\nExperience with ERP systems such as SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms.\nExperience supporting process improvement, automation or shared services transformation initiatives.\nSalary Range\n$70,000 - $85,000\n\nWork Environment\nThis position is located at our corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Minnesota.
