In this role, you’ll work with metal and glass components to fabricate and assemble products that become part of the buildings shaping cities across the country.\nIf you have experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or working from blueprints and shop drawings, we’d like to hear from you.\nWhat You’ll Do\nRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings\nCut, fabricate, and assemble window framing materials according to work orders\nWork with metal and glass components, including insulated glass units\nUse manual and power hand tools to complete fabrication and assembly work\nLoad and unload materials using hand methods, forklifts, and overhead cranes\nInspect and package completed frames and products for shipment\nStage products and assist with inventory management\nFollow production schedules and meet daily productivity goals\nOperate CNC equipment by translating fabrication instructions into computer commands\nMaintain an organized and clean work area through 5S practices\nFollow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment\nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired:\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings\n1 to 2 years of manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or related experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nCurtain wall or architectural glass industry experience\nAbility to work independently with limited supervision\nBasic math, reading, and computer skills\nAbility to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment\nAbility to effectively manage time and meet production schedules\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team\nAbility to push, pull, and lift 30 to 60 pounds\nAbility to walk, bend, twist, squat, and climb occasionally\nPreferred:\nExperience using forklifts or overhead cranes\nWhy Harmon?\nAt Harmon, you’ll have the opportunity to build practical skills, work with experienced manufacturing professionals, and play a hands on role in producing products used in commercial construction.\nIf you’re dependable, comfortable working with your hands, and can look at a blueprint and understand what needs to be built, apply today.\nOur Benefits\nWe care about and invest in our employees.
