Interns will work closely with engineering and production teams and spend significant time on the manufacturing floor.\nStructured, project-based program focusing on skill set growth, technology and systems knowledge, business acumen, and professional development\nRegular coaching and feedback sessions with mentors and supervisors\nLeadership opportunities through activities and presentations\nConnect with leadership team through various events\nExposure to other Apogee locations and business units\nPartner with other interns through projects, community events, and social activities\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork alongside quality, engineering, and production teams on real projects.\nSpend time on the manufacturing floor learning processes, equipment, and operations.\nIdentify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.\nAssist with troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues.\nCollect and analyze production data.\nSupport process improvement, equipment, tooling, and layout projects.\nAssist with time studies, process documentation, and work instructions.\nParticipate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.\nHelp implement engineering solutions and see projects through to completion.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a four year college or university in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.\nSophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.\nMinimum 3.0 GPA.\nInterest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.\nComfortable working in a manufacturing environment and spending time on the production floor.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nWillingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.\nWhat You’ll Gain\nHands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExposure to real engineering projects and production processes.\nMentorship from experienced engineering professionals.\nExperience with process improvement and problem solving.\nThe opportunity to contribute to projects that impact products and operations.\nA strong foundation for a career in manufacturing engineering.\nPay Range\n$23.00-25.00/hour\nOur Benefits\nWe care about and invest in our employees.
