The Associate will be responsible for interpreting governing documents, validating key economic terms, and maintaining the integrity of security data that supports trading, accounting, risk, and reporting functions.\nGiven the breadth of Apollo’s platform and the complexity of private credit and structured products, this role requires strong operational judgment, attention to detail, and an understanding of end-to-end investment workflows.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead the setup and ongoing maintenance of private and structured securities within internal Security Master platforms.\n\nPerform detailed review of Credit Agreements and governing documents to extract and validate key security terms (e.g., issuer, coupon, payment dates, amortization schedules, covenants).\n\nEnsure accurate synchronization of security reference data across multiple systems, including Everest, VPM, Markit EDM, Thinkfolio, and PAM.\n\nPartner with deal teams, traders, portfolio managers, Insurance oversight, and Quant teams to validate new security setups and resolve discrepancies.\n\nMaintain and troubleshoot Residential Mortgage Loan (RML) and Commercial Mortgage Loan (CML) security records, ensuring completeness and accuracy.\n\nExecute reconciliations and data quality controls to preserve the integrity of investment, accounting, and reporting outputs.\n\nSupport testing and implementation efforts related to system enhancements, integrations, and workflow improvements.\n\nServe in a lead or supporting capacity on cross-platform operational initiatives impacting Security Master and reference data processes.\n\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve automation, and enhance data governance within the Security Master function.\n\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nUndergraduate degree with 3-6+ years of relevant experience in investment operations, security master, reference data, or asset servicing.\n\nExperience setting up and maintaining fixed income, private credit, or structured product securities.\n\nAbility to read and interpret Credit Agreements and other governing documents to extract key economic and structural terms.\n\nStrong understanding of security lifecycle events and downstream operational impacts (trading, accounting, reporting).\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nDemonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate with urgency in a deadline-driven environment.\n\nComfort communicating directly with traders, portfolio managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nPreferred\nExperience with mortgage products (RML and CML).\n\nFamiliarity with Security Master or reference data platforms such as VPM, Everest, PAM, Thinkfolio, or Markit EDM.\n\nExperience with Bloomberg and credit rating agencies (S&P, Moody’s, Fitch).\n\nExposure to insurance asset management or separately managed account platforms.\n\nExperience participating in system implementations or workflow redesign initiatives.\n\nAppreciation for data governance, controls, and operational risk management frameworks.\n\nPay Range\n100,000 - 130,000Apollo Global Management, Inc.
