Headquartered in Toronto, with regional offices globally, including in the United States, Mexico and India, we are the largest Canadian-based pharmaceutical company and a health partner of choice for the Americas for pharmaceutical licensing and product acquisitions.\nFor more information visit:www.apotex.com.\nJob Summary\nResponsible for keeping accurate inventory of all the resources in the Quality Control storage areas.\nProvides support to the department by performing activities, which will assist chemists in their work.\nResponsible for labelling, storing and disposing of samples received in the QC lab.\nThis role is for Afternoon shift - Monday to Friday, 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm\nJob Responsibilities\nLog and/or receive in LIMs Raw materials, Semi-Finished, Stability and STR samples.\nMonitor and maintain inventory for primary and Secondary Standards, including Controlled substances, ensuring the availability for use.\nMonitor and maintain QC inventories of placebos, capsule shells, System suit tubes, Internal standards and Related compound/ impurities.\nProvide standards placebo and Certificate of Analysis as required for Internal and External customers.\nDisposes and removes raw material ,dosage samples and expired chemicals routinely in a safe and compliant manner.\nPrepare and send samples required for external testing in a timely manner Maintain Confidentiality of information.\nPrepare purchase requisition/purchase order in Ariba and liaise with vendors for items purchased.\nCoordinate ancillary activities for QC such as SOP and GMP training and act as IS Business Lead for QC.\nPrioritize the LTS/ IS work to be completed for the department/business unit.\nEnsure that all work is performed in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, all regulatory requirements, and safety standards.\nWork as an effective team member to meet departmental goals. Sharing knowledge with team members and across QC.\nWorks in a safe manner, collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.\nDemonstrate behaviours that exhibit our organizational Values\nEnsure personal adherence to all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environmental policies, and HR policies.\nCoordinate with trainers in activities involved in Documentation Training Cycle.
