This role is responsible for leading reliability processes that focus on reaching operational excellence, and developing and implementing strategies to deliver improved asset reliability and performance.\nThis role leads the corporate level reliability strategy development and plan execution. The role sets the strategy, developing the team and leader capabilities, and delivering continuous improvement in asset reliability.\nResponsible to lead the continued development of the reliability program across all GSTO sites, and will work with international sites engineering leads to further strengthen and harmonize the reliability program at their respective sites.\nThis role has overall responsibility for the SAP PM function and its ongoing maintenance and optimization.\nJob Responsibilities\nEstablish and drive reliability engineering principles and best work practices.\nLead the SAP PM function to provide required daily business support.\nLead all SAP PM optimization initiatives and major changes.\nSupport all corporate and site driven reliability initiatives.\nManage and oversee reliability engineers and provide needed training and support.\nEstablish and provide reliability trending/reporting and KPIs for customers.\nEstablish equipment performance expectations and measure overall equipment performance.\nWork with Production to identify key areas for reliability improvements, develop action plan, and work to implement action plan.\nProvide technical support to the Engineering Department on the selection of equipment based on reliability improvements and industry best practices.\nWork closely with the Quality Department to ensure all maintenance activities are properly executed and approved.\nParticipate and lead performance conversations with employees, including monthly one on ones, to connect on performance; check in on employee’s progress toward achieving Objectives, offer support and remove barriers; and, communicate and revisit performance expectations to reinforce and encourage high performance culture and a safe working environment for all employees.\nUtilize open, honest, two way communication to build trust-based relationships with employees, business partners and direct leader while continuously improving leadership capabilities by personally seeking feedback and development.\nCreate a culture which values trust and provides the opportunity for Employee development and growth in pursuit of our purpose and demonstrating our core Values - Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance and Passion.\nUtilize your networks to attract and hire talent in a comprehensive, differentiated and consistent manner essential to our continued growth; then, onboard new employees by providing a consistent experience that reflects the values and commitments made to candidates during the hiring process.\nEnsure adherence of team members (direct reports) with all compliance programs and company policies and procedures.\nAll other duties as assigned\nJob Requirements\nEducationPost-secondary degree/diploma in mechanical or electro-mechanical discipline, or millwright or machinist with equivalent related work experience.\nTraining in Reliability Engineering Principles and Practices preferred.\n\nKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership skills in a staff position including influencing others, managing diversity, setting goals and objectives and measuring performance.\nExperience with CMMS systems, SAP is preferred.\nStrong data analysis skills.\nStrong understanding of reliability principles and methodologies.\nAbility to work within a team environment in a facilitator role.\nStrong organizational and communications skills are essential.\nDemonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities.\nWorking experience of Word, Excel and Outlook.\nExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills required.\nDisplays strong organizational, time management and detail-oriented skills.\n\nExperience5 - 8 years related experience preferably in a pharmaceutical (or similarly regulated) Industry.\nExperience with reliability best practices and understanding of maintenance workflow and processes.\nExperience leading/training reliability engineers.\n\nAt Apotex, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and accessible work environment, where all everyone feels valued, respected, and supported to succeed.\nWe offer accommodation for applicants with disabilities as part of its recruitment process. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.\nWe are looking for top talent.
