Operators also record information and observations relating to the mixing process, troubleshoot issues with equipment and assist in process improvement initiatives and the work plan development process and procedures\nJob Responsibilities\nResponsible for setting up, carrying out and monitoring processing steps as assigned by the Senior Chemical Operators or Production Supervisor, ensuring quality work in a timely manner.\nWorks in compliance with all departmental and company Health and Safety policies, SOPs, cGMP procedures and other governmental regulations.\nAccurately records data in a timely manner in production documents, under supervision\nReports injuries, accidents or damaged equipment.\nUses appropriate personal safety equipment and follows safety procedures.\nResponsible for ensuring that the production facility is maintained in a neat and tidy manner in accordance with departmental policy.\nResponsible for the cleaning and sanitation, using detergents and chemicals, of all production equipment and production areas, such as dryer rooms.\nIn constant communication with the Senior Chemical Operators, Production Specialist or Production Supervisor, including reporting plant and equipment status, observations or problems.\nResponsible for reviewing new or updated departmental SOPs and attending required training sessions.\n“When assigned to work in a work centre different from the one they are assigned to, they must work in a support role, shadow an operator that is trained and knowledgeable in the procedures specific to that area. “\nTo arrive at work 15 minutes prior to shift and prepare for upcoming shift.\nWorks in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.\nDemonstrate Behaviours that exhibit our organizational Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.\nEnsure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.\nAll other relevant duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements\nEducation\nMinimum high school diploma\nCollege Diploma or CET (chemical engineering technician) certification is strongly preferred\nPost-secondary degree in chemical engineering or chemistry is desirable\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nAptitude for mechanics.\nBasic computer skills (ex.
