This role will assist in monitoring product performance and contribute to cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Sales, Supply, Commercial Operations, and Finance. The Product Manager will help implement decisions and provide analytical support to ensure alignment with business objectives.\nJob Responsibilities\nOwns the product life cycle management from post-launch maturity (typically 6-12 months after launch) through end-of-life for a designated group of products. The Product Manager will develop a working understanding of the business, customer needs, and performance drivers in executing product strategies, tracking product performance, and influence pricing decisions.Analyzes competitive landscape, market dynamics and bid history in support of strategy\nOversee product line P&Ls and manage each for growth, identifying opportunities to grow while managing costs effectively.\nEvaluates strategic packaging options for product portfolio\nRecommend and coordinate any product discontinuations\n\nStrategically position and target customers in collaboration with Sales, Supply & Commercial Operations.\nApprove pricing on incoming bids in accordance to the pricing approval matrix\nPresents bid analysis to senior management for appropriate approval\nMonitor sales and contract compliance\nCollaborate with Demand Planning to ensure adequate product supply; safety stock, back orders, allocation etc.\nProvide forecast assumptions for Finance to support quarterly Integrated Business Planning (IBP)Assists on reporting of product performance drivers and trends\nProvides relevant product risks and opportunity updates\n\nPrepares product related presentations as needed for Executive Management, Sales, Customers and Partners \nDevelops business visualizations and insights from various primary/secondary data sources driving action\nPerforms ad-hoc analysis\nFacilitates to completion, projects as required for the department.\nResponsible to ensure compliance of team members with the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies. \nLeads with a global mindset that respects all cultural dimensions.\nPerforms all work in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements.\nDelivers all work in support of our Values of Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s Degree required either in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a similar degree\nAdvanced Degree (MBA, MS etc.) preferred\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience in the U.S. generic pharmaceutical industry; or similar/comparable industry experience\nData analysis experience and an advanced MS Excel user is a must\nExperience with pivot tables and advanced complex formulas\nPower Query a plus\nBusiness Visualizations Experience (e.g. PowerBI, Qlik, Tableua etc) a plus\nStrong and proven quantitative, qualitiative, analytical reasoning and communication skills\nDemonstrate strategic thinking ability & able to analyze & visualize data effectively\nForecasting and financial modeling knowledge experience\nStrong multi-tasking and time management capability\nStrong presentation and communication skills\nAbility to travel (approximately 10-20% travel)\nAt Apotex, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and accessible work environment, where all everyone feels valued, respected, and supported to succeed.\nWe offer accommodation for applicants with disabilities as part of its recruitment process.
