Drawn together from several backgrounds including the pharmaceutical industry, research, marketing, medical and regulatory writing, sales, publishing, digital media and design, we have the experience and all-round ability to conceive and deliver the best quality medical communications programs.\nAbout the role\nAs a Medical Writer, you will use your scientific expertise to develop and deliver innovative medical communications projects.\nHere's what you'll be doing:\nThe role will involve reviewing and interpreting data from preclinical and clinical research articles as the basis of creating scientific written materials in keeping with project briefs.\nWorking with leading international pharmaceutical clients, you will have the opportunity to interact with some of the world’s leading scientists and physicians on critical therapeutic and scientific issues.\nRemains current with medical developments and conducts literature searches to ensure delivery of accurate medical information for assigned projects.\nParticipate in client meetings / teleconferences and attend scientific meetings as required.\nSynthesizes clinical trial data and translates relevance for the appropriate physician and consumer audiences according to client requirements for assigned projects.\nAbout you:\nAdvanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology or medicine \nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work to and within deadlines and to juggle multiple projects\nStrong financial, administrative and organization skills, including ability to multi-task\n1 - 2 years of relevant experience within medical communications\nKeen attention to detail, ability to prioritize responsibilities and work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently\nAdvanced computer skills, knowledge of Internet searches and Microsoft Windows software including Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint.\nTravel as needed, including weekends\nBenefits:\nHealth coverage\nRetirement plan\nPTO\nThis position is open to candidates who are looking for a fully remote or hybrid opportunity based in the United States.\n In addition to a competitive package, we are known for our friendly and informal working environment.
