overstock, understock, slow-moving, and non-performing products and recommend appropriate actions.\nWork closely with Supply Chain and Operations on replenishment and stock allocation.\nDevelop and maintain store-level allocation and replenishment plans.\nSupport new store openings by preparing initial stock and assortment requirements.\nOpen-to-Buy (OTB) & Financial Planning\nManage and monitor the Open-to-Buy (OTB) plan in coordination with the Merchandising and Finance teams.\nTrack planned versus actual sales, purchases, stock levels, and inventory commitments.\nProvide recommendations on future purchases based on sales performance and available inventory budget.\nSupport markdown and clearance planning to optimize inventory and minimize aged stock.\nReporting & Analysis\nPrepare regular trading and merchandise performance reports.\nAnalyze key KPIs including:Sales and sales growth\nSell-through %\nStock turn\nStock cover\nGross margin\nAverage selling price\nInventory ageing\nAvailability / out-of-stock %\nMarkdown performance\n\nHighlight key business risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations to management.\nMaintain accurate merchandise planning and reporting data.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Buyers to translate category and brand strategies into commercially viable merchandise plans.\nWork closely with Retail Operations to understand store-level performance and stock requirements.\nCoordinate with Marketing on promotions, launches, campaigns, and seasonal activities.\nCollaborate with Supply Chain to ensure timely stock availability and replenishment.\nWork with Finance to align merchandise plans with budgets and financial targets.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nSales achievement vs. control\nReplenishment effectiveness\nQualifications & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or a related field.\n3-5 years of experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, commercial planning, or a similar role.\nExperience within beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or specialty retail is preferred.\nStrong experience in sales forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment, and commercial analysis.\nExperience working with multiple brands, categories, and retail locations is an advantage.\nTechnical Skills\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis.\nStrong understanding of retail planning and merchandise KPIs.\nExperience with ERP, merchandising, BI, or planning systems.\nStrong analytical and numerical skills.\nAbility to interpret large datasets and convert insights into commercial actions.\nCompetencies\nAnalytical thinking\nCommercial
