Under your scope, you will have a combination of recurring maintenance tasks (daily/weekly/monthly) which are required to keep the basics of the business operational, as well as project work aimed at meeting various requirements or improving existing processes.\nThe position offers a hybrid schedule: you will work once a week onsite and four days on remote. Compensation package includes 15 paid working days (PTO) plus local holidays, comprehensive medical coverage (OSDE 310) for you and your dependents, reimbursement for elegible wellness activities, English lessons, global and local events participation, within other benefits.\nWhat you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact\nRecord all manner of economic transactions into the accounting system and other utilized platforms.\nPerform month-end close operations, including reconciliations and consolidations.\nHandle filing of certain tax-related items, such as sales or franchise taxes.\nActively aid during audit season, by communicating with auditors and providing samples.\nParticipation in AR and AP functions, including follow-ups on delinquents, set up vendors and customers, and record inflows and outflows.\nProcess of new sales orders and set up of contracts.\nCash management across several platforms.\nAssisting other team members and departments with ad hoc requests.\nCommunication with external parties, primarily clients and vendors.\nTracking and updating of numerous figures and reports.\nWhat we’re looking for\nCompleted or actively pursuing your CPA designation (or related field).\n2+ years experience in accounting. \nAdvanced proficiency in Excel functions.\nWorking knowledge of accounting software, preferably NetSuite.\nExposure to audits, sales and income tax, and other compliance basics.\nFamiliarity with Salesforce contracts (preferred).\nFamiliarity with various banking and payment portals (Stripe/Paypal/AirWallex/etc) (preferred).\nAttention to detail and focus while dealing with repetition or large amounts of data.\nCritical mind for analyzing data, spotting trends and anomalies, and establishing connections between events.\nAt AppDirect, we believe that innovation thrives in an environment that houses diversity of excellence, experience and thought.
